Bored

We are so bored.  Stanley is complaining about where I keep my indoor balls.  Cherry Bomb is still my #1 indoor ball but she is getting old and has holes so I am training her eventual replacement, Greenie Bomb.  I keep them where I can keep an eye on them.

I think Stanley just likes to complain sometimes.  Here we are, so bored our eyes are about to fall out!

We followed mom outside when she watered her garden but then she wanted us to pose nicely.  I didn't want any part of it.

Then Stanley posed.

So I felt guilty.

Our weather is still in the upper 90's.  We are really looking forward to going to the Oregon Coast!

Hike

The other day we went on a walkie and found this trail head.  We did not even know it was there! So once it cools off we're going exploring on it!  We can't wait!

Flower Friday

Today we are joining our pals the DB Boyz in their Flower Friday!  This first one is from mom's sunflower garden.

We have these bushes along the property line on one side.

We saw these others when we went for a walkie.

This is in mom's planter.

Again, our bush but a different color.

Mom checks every day to see if her giant sunflowers have bloomed.  Not yet but soon!

Jimmy

Guess what??  Me and Stanley have a new friend and his name is Jimmy!  Mom found him in a trash can at a specialty store! We are getting to know each other today.

Jimmy, your paws taste real nice are super strong!!

Jimmy has a really tasty cool hat too!

Jimmy is a GIANT & in PAWFECT health!

Me & Jimmy taking a nap together.

Stanley woke Jimmy up to see if he was ready to play.

Jimmy liked to wrestle with Stanley!

Stanley sniffed Jimmy's butt.

"Go ahead Jimmy, look out the window and bark!"

Stanley and Jimmy were on patrol together.

We really like Jimmy!

A Good Reason

A good reason to train your pups is so that they can more fully pawticipate in family life and more easily be taken to public places.  Our pawrents started our training when we were very young.  As soon as our vaccinations were all done, we started attending PSU (Pet Smart University) cuz our pawrents said we were gonna be social doggies!

Our pawrents exposed us to everything they could find.  Loud noises, lots of people and general commotion were just some of the things they sought out so we would not be scared when we were man-dogs.

So when we were just 6 months old they decided we were ready for our first LONG ride in the truck. We went on vacation to Northern California!

We learned all about oceans!

We explored beaches!

We learned about waves and salt water!

We learned that driftwood was fun!

We learned that digging in the sand is a blast!

We learned about hiking and giant redwood trees!

And we practiced posing - everywhere!

Mom and dad say we are great travelers and they are blessed to be able to take us with them.  We just think we're lucky to explore so many new places! So far we have been to 12 states:  Utah, Idaho, Oregon, California,  Nevada, Arizona, Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Indiana, South Dakota, and Illinois.  Pretty soon (next month) we're gonna add Washington to the list too!

So next time your pawrents talk to you about school, it might be a good idea to go!

TBT - Oregon 2015

With our long lasting heat wave, we are thinking a lot about our trip to the Oregon Coast next month.  There is so much to do and it should be a lot cooler than here!  Here is a glimpse of our trip 2 years ago . . .

And that is just the beginning!
